Project 999

Resource to officers and their families

Project 999 serves as a resource to officers and their families of officers who have been injured or killed in the line of duty. Beyond regular pay and benefits officers receive, many times expenses and resources are required to assist their families when traumatic episodes occur in the line of duty. The OCSAC seeks to alleviate some of these stressful and traumatic events for officers and their families by providing assistance through Project 999. Notably, OCSAC was proud and grateful for the opportunity to assist with funeral expenses for fallen Huntington Beach Officer Nicholas Vella through the Project 999 initiative.
