Programs and Initiatives

The purpose of the Orange County Sheriff’s Advisory Council (OCSAC) is to support the Orange County Sheriff’s Department with financial assistance and with community feedback. With privately funded operations, the OCSA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that seeks to be a supportive resource to the OC Sheriff’s department, deputies and staff.

By working with the Sheriff Don Barnes and department staff, the OCSAC understands and identifies ways to assist the department with programs that fall beyond the defined parameters assigned to the department, serving both the department and the public at large.
